We live today with future generations in mind, believing faithful obedience can outlive us.
The Beginning of Women on the Wall
How the Vision Began
Women on the Wall began during a season when our church was meeting in the gym while a new church building was being constructed.
In that setting, Tammy saw a vision of an orange wall with beautiful lights. The room looked as though something significant was happening—almost like a gathering, a ministry event, or even a book signing. Women were standing in line near a desk or counter.
At the time, she did not fully understand what it meant. But shortly afterward, a friend was talking about the book of Nehemiah. In that moment, the words “Women on the Wall” came alive.
The picture began to make sense: women standing in their place, praying, watching, building, protecting, encouraging, and refusing to come down from the assignment God had given them.
What started as a vision became a calling—to gather women, teach the Word, strengthen prayer lives, build faith, and help women leave a legacy for the generations coming behind them.

Women on the Wall is a call for women to rise in prayer, wisdom, discernment, love, strength, and faithfulness. Inspired by Nehemiah and the rebuilding of Jerusalem’s walls, this ministry calls women to recognize what God has entrusted to them and remain faithful at their post.
Our wall may be our family, marriage, church, children, grandchildren, community, ministry, or a broken place God has called us to rebuild.
We are building women who:

• Develop disciplined, powerful prayer lives.
• Walk in biblical wisdom and discernment.
• Stand faithfully for their families and churches.

Meet Tammy Segler
Tammy Segler is the author and founder behind Legacy of Women on the Wall, a ministry vision centered on prayer, Scripture, spiritual growth, family, and generational legacy.
The message of Women on the Wall grew from a burden to gather women together—to pray, study and teach the Word of God, encourage one another, strengthen families, and help women recognize the place God has entrusted to them.
Through the book, Bible study, Leaders Manual, prayer ministry, and Women on the Wall gatherings, Tammy’s heart is to equip women to become rooted in Christ, formed in prayer, strong in discernment, faithful in their assignment, and prepared to pour into the generation coming behind them.

Not every day on the wall feels dramatic. Some days are simply about continuing to build. One prayer. One act of obedience. One Scripture read when you are tired. One decision not to give up.
The wall in Nehemiah rose because the people had a mind to work. They kept showing up. Faithfulness is often built in ordinary moments when nobody is applauding.
